We invite you to enjoy the experience travelling to Festival as a Journey of Discovery and take time to ponder the people you meet and witness on that journey! While Connecticut College is a beautiful campus in a beautiful corner of the world, and is easily accessibly by car (with free parking) and by train (train station a quick taxi trip from station in New London), air travel is not quite as convenient! Take some time to review the information at New London travel website for various options.
For Air Travel, there are two airports, each located approximately a one hour drive from the College.
The first airport is TF Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island. From this Airport there is a free shuttle every hour from the Airport going to the Amtrak station in nearby Providence. From there you can take Amtrak to New London and then take a quick taxi ride to the College. Alternatively - you can rent a car at the airport and return it to a location in New London. Check with your favorite Car Rental company for details on renting a car.
The second airport is Bradley International in Hartford, Connecticut. We have researched and evaluated the limited options for shuttle service between Bradley International Airport (in Windsor Locks – near Hartford, CT) and Connecticut College (New London, CT). Unfortunately, the Airport is approximately a 1-hour drive from the College with no easily accessible public transportation and there are no regular airport shuttle service routes making it necessary to use a pricier personal shuttle service. To that end, we now have made arrangements with Beverly Hills Limousine to provide Sacred Dance Guild participants service between these two locations. The rate is $55.00 per person (per trip) based on an anticipated minimum of 3 persons per trip. The service will meet you at the Airport, will co-ordinate with other passengers and will bring you directly to Connecticut College. Attached is an information sheet with details.
