Erika Thimey Dance & Theater Company
ERIKA THIMEY DANCE AND THEATER COMPANY
Sharon Werth and Josephine Nicholson
The Erika Thimey Dance and Theater Company was established in 1990 by Sally Carlson Crowell, a dancer who wanted to revive some of Erika's dances, particularly those created for children. In 2002, company dancers Sharon Werth and Jo Nicholson assumed leadership as co-directors.
Based in Washington, D.C. where Erika taught dance for many years, the current company has five regular members and often draws on former dancers when performing larger works.
The repertory consists primarily of Erika's choreography and also includes dances by company members.
